Cookie policy

What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember information between visits. They are widely used across the internet for everything from keeping you logged in to tracking your behaviour across websites.
We believe you should know exactly what a website stores on your device.
Our approach
We use one cookie. It remembers your language preference so the website loads in the language you last selected. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking cookies of any kind.
No cookie consent banner is required because we use only a strictly necessary cookie, which is exempt under EU and Finnish law.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Stores your preferred language (English or Finnish) so the site loads in the correct language on your next visit. Does not contain personal data. | Strictly necessary | Session (deleted when you close your browser) | wibergs.fi (via next-intl) |
Cookies we do not use
For clarity, we do not use:
- Analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics, Plausible, or Vercel Analytics)
- Advertising or remarketing cookies
- Social media tracking pixels
- Third-party cookies of any kind
- Fingerprinting or similar identification technologies
We have not enabled Vercel Analytics or Vercel Speed Insights on this website.
Other client-side storage
We do not use browser localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB to store visitor data. No information about you is stored on your device beyond the single cookie described above.
Third-party services
When you click a link to our ordering platform (Yosis), you leave wibergs.fi and enter a third-party website. Yosis may set its own cookies, governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. We do not control what cookies third-party websites set.
Similarly, transport service links, social media links, and other external links on this website lead to third-party sites with their own cookie practices.
Your choices
Most browsers allow you to manage or delete cookies through their settings. If you delete the NEXT_LOCALE cookie, the website will detect your language from your browser settings on your next visit.
Because we do not use non-essential cookies, there are no cookie preferences to manage on this website.
Changes to this policy
If we introduce new cookies in the future (for example, analytics or functionality cookies), we will update this page before they are deployed. If those cookies are not strictly necessary, we will implement a consent mechanism as required by law.
