Last updated: 15 April 2026

About these terms

These terms and conditions govern your use of the wibergs.fi website, any purchase of products from Wiberg's as a consumer, and any business or wholesale supply arrangement. By placing an order or using this website, you agree to these terms.

Part 1 covers the use of this website. Part 2 covers consumer purchases (subscriptions and single orders). Part 3 covers business and wholesale orders.

Please read them carefully. If you have questions, contact us before ordering.

All content on wibergs.fi, including text, photographs, illustrations, design, and code, is owned by Wiberg's unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

Links to other websites

This website contains links to third-party websites, including our order platform (Yosis), transport services, and external resources. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these websites.

Accuracy

We make every effort to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that all content is complete, current, or free from errors. Product availability, pricing, and schedules may change without notice on the website. The terms governing your purchase are those in effect at the time you place your order.

Website availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to wibergs.fi. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time without notice.

Part 2: Terms of sale

These terms apply to all purchases of pastured eggs from Wiberg's, whether by subscription or single order.

Products

We sell pastured eggs in trays of 10 and 30. Our eggs are graded and packed at our own facility in accordance with Finnish and EU food safety regulations. Each tray is stamped with a producer code and a best before date set at 28 days from the date of laying.

Product descriptions, photographs, and other information on this website are provided for general guidance. Natural products vary in appearance. Yolk colour, shell shade, and egg size differ with the season, the flock's diet, and individual hens.

How to order

Orders are placed through our online ordering platform, currently operated by Yosis. When you place an order, you enter into a contract with Wiberg's. Yosis processes the transaction on our behalf as a technology provider.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that the information you provide is accurate.

Free choice eggs available at our farm kiosk may be purchased without an online order and without age restriction.

Subscription plans

We offer three subscription plans:

PlanCommitmentPaymentPrice per tray
MonthlyRolling, month to monthCharged per pickup cycle€18
SeasonalJune to October (20 weeks)Paid upfront at signup€17
Annual12 monthsPaid upfront at signup€16

All prices include VAT. The applicable VAT rate is shown at checkout.

Subscription details, including tray quantity and pickup frequency, are selected when you place your order. You may adjust these through your order account, subject to the change policy below.

Single orders

Single orders (on-demand) are available at the monthly per-tray price. No commitment is required.

Pricing and payment

All prices on this website include VAT at the applicable rate. Payment is processed through our ordering platform.

We reserve the right to change prices. If prices change:

  • Monthly subscribers receive at least 30 days notice. The new price applies from the next billing cycle after the notice period.
  • Seasonal and annual subscribers are locked at the price in effect when they signed up for the duration of their committed period.

Right of withdrawal

Eggs are perishable goods. Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(d), implemented in Finnish Consumer Protection Act Chapter 6, Section 16), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

This means you cannot return eggs after collection. Your rights in respect of defective products (see "Quality and complaints" below) are not affected.

Collection and pickup

Eggs are available for pickup only. You collect from the location you selected when placing your order, during the scheduled pickup window.

For subscription orders, you receive a notification with your pickup code before each collection. Present your code at the collection point to receive your trays. Anyone can collect on your behalf using your pickup code.

Pickup locations, schedules, and what to expect at each location are listed on the Collect page.

Transfer of risk

Risk passes to you when you (or someone collecting on your behalf) take possession of the eggs at the collection point. From that moment, you are responsible for the handling, transport, and storage of your eggs.

Changes to your order

You may pause, adjust, or cancel your subscription through your order account. All changes must be made at least 24 hours before your next scheduled pickup. Changes made after this deadline take effect from the following pickup.

Missed pickups

If you do not collect your eggs and have not paused your order in advance:

  • Monthly subscribers are not charged for the missed pickup.
  • Seasonal and annual subscribers forfeit that pickup. The eggs allocated to you cannot be held or carried forward.

If you cannot collect yourself, send someone with your pickup code.

Cancellation

Monthly subscriptions: Cancel at any time with at least 24 hours notice before your next pickup. No cancellation fee applies.

Seasonal and annual subscriptions: You may cancel before the end of your committed period. If you cancel early, we recalculate the trays you have already collected at the standard monthly rate (currently €18 per tray). Your refund is the total amount you paid minus this recalculated cost.

Example: You start an annual plan for 1 tray biweekly and prepay €416 (26 trays at €16 each). After collecting 10 trays, you cancel. We recalculate: 10 trays at the monthly rate of €18 = €180. Your refund is €416 minus €180 = €236.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of the cancellation taking effect.

Quality and complaints

We grade and inspect every egg before it leaves our facility. We take care in packing and handling, but eggs are a natural product and occasional breakage can occur.

At pickup (manned locations): If you notice damaged eggs at the point of collection, let us know immediately. We will replace them on the spot where stock allows.

After pickup: If you discover a quality issue after collection, contact us within 24 hours at subscriptions@wibergs.fi with a photograph. If your claim is valid, we issue a credit toward your next collection.

We do not offer cash refunds for individual eggs. Credits are applied to your account and used against your next scheduled pickup.

Your statutory rights under Finnish consumer protection law are not affected by these terms. If you believe a product is defective, you are entitled to a remedy in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

Availability

Egg supply follows natural laying cycles. Production is highest from spring through autumn and decreases in winter as daylight hours shorten. Supply may also be affected by flock health, weather, or regulatory requirements.

Subscriptions are subject to availability. We may limit new subscriptions if demand exceeds supply. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you and offer a credit, a rescheduled pickup, or a refund for the affected period.

Food safety

Eggs are classified as a major food allergen. Our products are handled in a facility where allergens may be present.

Store eggs at a consistent temperature, ideally around 15 degrees Celsius in a dark, dry place. Each tray is marked with a best before date. Follow standard food hygiene practices when preparing and consuming eggs.

Finland has one of the world's most rigorous salmonella control programmes. Our hens are monitored under this national programme. As with all fresh food, we recommend following standard food safety guidelines.

Force majeure

We are not liable for failure to fulfil orders caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather, natural disasters, or prolonged adverse conditions
  • Flock health emergencies, disease outbreaks, or unexpected mortality
  • Avian influenza or other mandatory housing or movement restrictions imposed by the Finnish Food Authority (Ruokavirasto) or EU authorities
  • Government-imposed restrictions affecting farming, food production, or distribution
  • Supply chain disruptions affecting feed, packaging, or essential inputs
  • Fire, flood, or damage to farm infrastructure
  • Utility failures, including prolonged power or water outages

If a force majeure event disrupts your subscription:

  • Your subscription is paused automatically for the duration of the disruption. You are not charged for paused periods (monthly) and credits are preserved (seasonal and annual).
  • We communicate the situation and expected timeline directly.
  • If the disruption exceeds six consecutive months, you may request a pro-rata refund of your remaining prepaid balance. We will process this within 14 days of your request.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Finnish law, our liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the price you paid for the affected product or subscription period.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or this website.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Finnish law.

Amendments to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our business practices, products, or legal requirements. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the terms were most recently revised.

Material changes to subscription terms are communicated to active subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of our products or website is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Varsinais-Suomi, Finland.

Dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, contact us first at subscriptions@wibergs.fi. We will do our best to resolve the matter directly.

If we cannot resolve a consumer dispute, you may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta):

Consumer Disputes Board, PO Box 306, 00531 Helsinki, www.kuluttajariita.fi

The Consumer Disputes Board provides free, impartial resolution of consumer disputes. You must contact us before filing a complaint with the Board.

Part 3: Business and wholesale orders

These terms apply to orders placed by restaurants, cafes, local food shops, buying clubs, and other business customers. Business orders are placed through the order request page or by contacting us directly.

Scope

Part 3 applies when you are ordering in a business capacity, not as a private consumer. Finnish consumer protection law (kuluttajansuojalaki) does not apply to business-to-business transactions. The consumer-specific rights described in Part 2, including the quality complaints procedure, missed pickup policy, and the Consumer Disputes Board referral, do not apply to business orders. Your rights are governed by the Finnish Sale of Goods Act (kauppalaki) and the terms of your individual supply agreement.

Ordering and agreements

Business orders are arranged individually. After you submit an order request, we discuss your requirements, agree on volume, frequency, pricing, and collection or delivery arrangements. These details are confirmed in writing by email.

No binding agreement exists until we confirm your order in writing. Submitting a request does not guarantee availability.

Pricing

Business pricing is agreed individually and depends on volume, frequency, and commitment. Prices are quoted exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT is added at the applicable rate on invoices.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days written notice. Pricing for the current commitment period is honoured as agreed.

Payment

Business customers are invoiced unless agreed otherwise. Standard payment terms are 14 days net from invoice date. Late payments are subject to interest at the rate set by the Finnish Interest Act (korkolaki).

Delivery and collection

Business orders may be collected from a designated pickup point or delivered by arrangement. Delivery schedules and locations are agreed as part of the order confirmation. Delivery charges, if any, are stated in the agreement.

Risk passes to the business customer at the point of collection or delivery.

Quality

We apply the same grading and handling standards to all eggs, whether sold to consumers or businesses. If you receive eggs that do not meet the agreed specification, notify us within 24 hours with a photograph. Valid claims are resolved with a credit or replacement at the next delivery. We do not accept returns of perishable goods.

Cancellation

Either party may terminate a business supply agreement with 14 days written notice. Orders already confirmed for the notice period remain binding.

Liability

Our liability in connection with a business order is limited to the value of the affected delivery. We are not liable for indirect losses, including lost revenue, lost profit, or business interruption.

Disputes

Business disputes are governed by Finnish law and resolved in the courts of Varsinais-Suomi, Finland. The Consumer Disputes Board is not available for business-to-business disputes.
